Piers and columns are indispensable elements in construction, categorized based on the shape of the concrete body: round end pier, rectangular pier, portal pier, and frame pier.
In railway engineering, the round-end pier column reigns supreme, encompassing hyperbolic piers, corbel piers (heaven and earth circle/upper circle and lower circle), hollow piers, and more. These formworks are typically fortified using tie rods or trusses.
The selection of formwork material is meticulously guided by mechanical model calculations. The manufacturing process for pier column formwork significantly deviates from that of standard combined steel formworks.
