In railway engineering, the round-end pier column reigns supreme, encompassing types such as hyperbolic piers, corbel piers (heaven and earth circle/upper circle and lower circle), and hollow piers. These formworks are typically fortified using tie rods or trusses.
The choice of formwork material is determined by mechanical model calculations. The manufacturing process for pier column formwork is distinct from that of standard combined steel formworks.
