In railway engineering, the round-end pier column is the prevalent type, including hyperbolic piers, corbel piers (heaven and earth circle/upper circle and lower circle), hollow piers, and more. These formworks are typically reinforced using tie rods or trusses, ensuring durability and stability.
The selection of formwork material is meticulously guided by mechanical model calculations.
