Piers and columns: the backbone of construction, meticulously classified by the shape of the concrete body. These include round end piers, rectangular piers, portal piers, and frame piers.
In railway engineering, the round-end pier column reigns supreme, encompassing varieties like hyperbolic piers, corbel piers (heaven and earth circle/upper and lower circles), hollow piers, and more.
