In railway engineering, the round-end pier column predominates, featuring hyperbolic piers, corbel piers (heaven and earth circle/upper circle and lower circle), hollow piers, and more. These formworks are typically reinforced using tie rods or trusses for enhanced stability.
The formwork material selection is meticulously guided by mechanical model calculations. The manufacturing process for pier column formwork is distinctly different from that of standard combined steel formworks.
